Beverage Server - Casino Bar (The Queen Casino Baton Rouge)

Essential Functions

• Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings
• Smiles, provides exceptional customer service, and always treats guests and coworkers with respect
• Prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to specifications and serves them in an orderly and timely fashion
• Accurately checks guest ID to ensure they are 21 or older before serving alcoholic beverages
• Knowledgeable in the products the company serves
• Properly operates the point of sales system, accounts for all service items, and keeps a balanced bank
• Understands salesmanship and customer service is what makes this position successful for the company and the team members
• Able to communicate effectively with guests, build rapport, and engage in friendly conversations
• Sets and keeps workstations and casino floor areas properly stocked, clean, safe, and organized
• Serves drinks, greets guests, busses and runs drinks, does side work, plus any other normal functions required to service our guests under normal operating conditions
• Communicates all guest service opportunities and product shortages or issues to management
• Knows and complies with all rules, regulations and policies of the food and beverage department
• Fulfills all company’s attendance policy as well as other rules and regulations set forth in the handbook
• Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by the departmental leaders
• Able to immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party
• Ensures customer service standards are met and retained
• Performs other duties as assigned

Target Hourly Rate

7.25 USD per Hour
