Beverage Server

About the role

This position serves as a Beverage Server at Rosie’s Gaming Emporium in Vinton, VA. Colonial Downs Group is an inclusive and fun workplace offering diverse opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and departure.
• Take beverage orders and relay them to the bartender.
• Demonstrate salesmanship and provide complete menu and product knowledge.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest areas and restock service well with supplies.
• Prepare coffee and soft drinks for drink orders and properly garnish drinks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three months experience in a related field.
• Must obtain and maintain a Serv-Safe certificate.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong and accurate money handling skills.
• Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of wines, alcohol, and mixed drinks.
