About the role
Responsible for organizing, maintaining, and stocking the bars with supplies and beverage products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists co-workers and guests in a courteous and friendly manner while ensuring that a high level of customer service is maintained.
- Has a strong knowledge of all beverage products to include deliveries schedules, product location, product lines on property, par levels, and shelf life.
- Stocks beverage department coolers with all beverage products.
- Maintains all stock rotation of product in all beverage areas.
- Reviews all orders from receiving to ensure proper stocking and to ensure proper pars for all beverage outlets.
- Change kegs, and requisition bar supplies.
- Deliver F&B product to Hotel/Casino venues as needed.
- Clean and stock Beverage storerooms.
- Assist F&B supervisor or above with inventory reconciliation and ordering where authorized.
- Maintain and inspect beer lines and Berg system making sure the lines are clean, full, pressurized and working properly. Notify supervisor if any adjustments are required.
- Assist in set up of special events.
- Abides by all State, Federal and Company liquor regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverage service to minors and intoxicated guest.
- Documents and reports all exceptions/variations/deviations immediately upon awareness to the F&B Relief manager or above.
- Maintains proper sanitation of work area, including washing glasses and service equipment at bar areas.
- Perform minor repairs to coffee, glass washing machines and berg equipment when needed.
- Assist any Service Vendors as needed.
- Reports any maintenance or repair issues to Management.
- Provides excellent guest service to both guests and internal clients.
- Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D preferred.
- 6 months – 1 year related experience.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Must be able to obtain a Riverside County Health Department card within one week of employment.
- Must be able to complete and show proof of Responsible Alcoholic Beverage Certificate through Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within 60 days of employment.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.
- May be subjected to a smoke filled environment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.
- Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
- Sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
