PORTER (FULL TIME)

About the role

Full-time Porter position at the Delta Sky Club, Detroit. Days and shift times vary; schedule options include 5:00 am – 2:30 pm or 10:00 am – 7:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front-of-house surfaces (tables, counters, floors, windows, beverage station).
• Clear, bus, and clean tables and sweep floors during peak service; prep areas before service.
• Transport dishes and utensils safely to the kitchen using trays, bus tubs, or carts.
• Wash dishes, glasses, pots, and clean cooking stations and equipment to support smooth service and sanitation standards.
• Scrape and rinse food from dishes; load into dishwashing machine or wash by hand as assigned.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris in compliance with safety and sanitation standards during meal service.
• Assist with receiving and transporting heavy deliveries from the dock to storage areas, observing safe lifting practices.
• Follow HACCP standards for food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Adhere to all Company safety policies, including use of cut-resistant gloves, oven mitts, fryer gloves, steamer gloves, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.

Requirements

• Experience preferred.

Pay

$17.75 per hour.
