Beverage Industry - Quality Technician, 3rd shift

Sunny Sky Products is dedicated to creating, manufacturing, and delivering top‑quality beverage products, including frozen, cold, hot dispensed beverages and beverage enhancers. The company seeks an organized, deadline‑oriented self‑starter to work in a fast‑paced environment, performing daily inspections of production equipment and product to ensure the highest food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow appropriate quality testing procedures and take action to meet product specifications (product testing, label review, in‑process testing).
• Monitor the facility during operations to assure sanitation conditions are maintained.
• Monitor the facility during operations to assure quality programs are being maintained (Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, Food Quality).
• Perform pre‑operational inspections on equipment daily to ensure sanitation was completed properly.
• Take corrective action when deficiencies are observed to ensure equipment meets quality standards.
• Audit process control points to ensure all system controls have been achieved.
• Maintain records of wastewater processing to ensure proper tracking and documentation.
• Document all audits, test results, and inspections on the appropriate forms daily.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized at all times.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• 1–3 years of experience in the food or beverage industry preferred.
• 4‑year degree or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a food‑industry Quality Assurance position or lab is a plus.
• HACCP training preferred.
• Ability to use a computer and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office for reporting and record keeping.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with peers and upper management.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Extended periods of standing required.
• Occasional lifting or moving of up to 30 lb.

Pay

$18.50 per hour

New Hire Bonus Program up to $500.00

Schedule

Full‑time position. Monday–Friday, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM. Weekend availability as needed (rotating Saturdays).
