Beverage Industry - Packaging Associate, 1st shift

About the role

As a Packaging Associate, you will work on packaging lines producing liquid and powdered beverage concentrates, maintain cleanliness of the production area in accordance with GMP guidelines, retain and identify samples of all production batches, and ensure the application and accuracy of codes on all packages. You will also rotate raw materials on a FIFO basis and maintain cleanliness in raw material areas.

Responsibilities

• Pack and stack finished products.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment, including daily greasing and lubrication.
• Run various filling and packaging machines (training will be provided).
• Keep accurate records of all daily cleaning and preventive maintenance functions.
• Maintain accurate label records of all items.

Requirements

• Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to keep complete and accurate written records.
• Able and open to learning the operation of new filling equipment and advancing within the company.
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Schedule

• Full-time, 8-hour shifts with occasional overtime.
• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays.

Pay

• $16.00 per hour.
• Sign-up bonus up to $500.00.
