Beverage Hospitality Manager

About the role

The Beverage Hospitality Manager is responsible for providing effective leadership to drive sales, hospitality at the highest level, profitability, and long-term growth of each individual tavern by managing all aspects of the business. This role is the keeper of Marlow’s Culture in their tavern, promoting and living the company’s value system, guiding principles, and promises. You will lead by example, uplift staff during busy moments, and ensure the restaurant runs smoothly while delivering pleasant dining experiences for customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily Front of the House restaurant operations
• Deliver superior service and maximize guest satisfaction
• Respond efficiently and accurately to guest complaints
• Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
• Organize and supervise shifts
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Manage the restaurant’s image
• Drive standards and control operational costs, identifying measures to cut waste
• Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
• Train new and current employees on proper guest service practices

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Key Employee, Assistant Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role
• Proven guest service experience as a Bartender, Server, or Key Employee
• Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge
• Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
• Acute financial management skills
