Beverage Fountain Installer

About the Role

The Fountain Installer is responsible for professionally delivering, installing, moving, removing, and providing low-priority maintenance on fountains and other types of beverage dispensing equipment to meet customer satisfaction, safely and efficiently per company standards. This role also involves providing excellent customer service and communication to internal and external customers, with the ability to sell revenue-generating services through the Coca-Cola Consolidated Equipment Reutilization Solutions (CCC ERS) proposition.

Responsibilities

• Handles the replacement, installation, removal, and low-priority maintenance of fountain and beverage dispensing equipment at customer locations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Drives safely, adhering to motor vehicle laws, and maintains a safe working environment by completing safety training and following safety policies, including DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Assembles fountain equipment at customer locations, including loading/unloading equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, and removing packaging materials with tools like cordless impact drivers and wrenches.
• Operates handheld devices to maintain accurate records of deliveries, removals, movements, and parts inventory.
• Troubleshoots and resolves minor technical issues with equipment; escalates unresolved issues by placing service calls.
• Completes required training and maintains documentation related to fountain equipment.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 to 100 pounds and move large pieces of equipment.
• Able to drive and ride for long periods, operate vehicles, hand trucks, fountain lifts, ladders, tools, and electronic devices.
• Comfortable working on ladders, under counters, and inside cabinets in uncontrolled temperature environments.
• Night work is required and typically rotated among team members.
• General knowledge or ability to learn basic electrical and plumbing skills.
• Must be organized and able to work effectively in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical.
• Ability to obtain forklift and pallet jack certification.
• Ability to pass company certification programs for equipment repair and safety (e.g., BEST, FAST).
• Past installation experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment varies, including exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas that may be non-temperature controlled.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00/hr, depending on experience

Schedule: 7-8am until completion (overnights required)
