About the Role
The Fountain Installer is responsible for professionally delivering, installing, moving, removing, and providing low-priority maintenance on fountains and other beverage-dispensing equipment to meet customer satisfaction safely and efficiently per company standards. This role also involves providing excellent customer service and communication to internal and external customers, including selling revenue-generating services through the Coca-Cola Consolidated Equipment Reutilization Solutions (CCC ERS) proposition.
Responsibilities
- Replace, install, remove, and perform low-priority maintenance on fountain and beverage-dispensing equipment at customer locations while adhering to company standards and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Drive safely following all motor vehicle laws without distraction; maintain a safe working environment by completing assigned safety training and adhering to safety policies, including DOT daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections if required
- Assemble fountain equipment at customer locations by loading and unloading equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks; remove packaging materials and equipment pods using cordless impact drivers, sockets, and wrenches; verify asset numbers assigned for the day
- Operate handheld devices to maintain accurate records of deliveries, removals, movements, and parts inventory accountability
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues for equipment not functioning properly at delivery; escalate unresolved issues via service call
- Complete all required training and maintain documentation related to fountain equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds
- Ability to move large pieces of equipment
- Comfort driving and riding for long periods
- Ability to operate vehicles, hand trucks, fountain lifts, ladders, electrical and cordless drills and saws, and electronic devices
- Willingness to work on ladders, under counters, inside cabinets, and in uncontrolled temperatures
- Night work is required and typically rotated among team members
- General knowledge or ability to learn basic electrical and plumbing skills
- Organizational skills and ability to work on a team to accomplish large installation jobs
Preferred Qualifications
- Past installation experience
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical
- Ability to obtain forklift and pallet jack certification
- Ability to pass company certification programs for equipment repair and safety (e.g., BEST, FAST)

Work environment varies, including exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas which may be non-temperature controlled.
