Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide proper and professional cocktail service to all guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction.
  • Promote and document orders for drinks, reciting selections of all “call,” and “premium” brands as requested, pass on order to Bartender, properly garnish and deliver to guest in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment including removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, emptying garbage, sweeping/mopping floors, scrubbing/sanitizing equipment, etc.
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar daily, before, after and during shift.
  • Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice.
  • Interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate in English, both in written and oral form.
  • Able to read, write, analyze, compile, coordinate, analyze, precision work, follow instructions, memorize, solve problems, make decisions, and work independently.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.

Physical Demands

  • Constantly stand, walk, reach overhead, bend over, crouch, kneel, and balance during the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to constantly lift/carry 25 lbs or less.
  • Constantly use both hands for light and firm/strong grasping motions.
  • Constantly use finger dexterity of both hands.
  • Constantly use vision abilities including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

Work Environment

  • Indoors, alone, and frequently with and around others.
  • Face-to-face interaction including verbal contact with others around computer equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud.
  • Exposure to vibrations, slippery surfaces, odor, and secondhand smoke.
