Beverage Cart Attendant

Talking Rock Ranch Club, located in Prescott, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a seasonal, part-time Beverage Cart Attendant. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Responsibilities
- Confirms beverage cart is fully operational before starting rounds on the course.
- Stocks and cleans beverage cart throughout the day.
- Maintains and exhibits knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
- Serves food and beverage items to guests while on the course.
- Responds to customer questions regarding the general information of facility.
- Reviews schedules for changes, calendar of events and club activities on a daily basis.
- Accountable for all checks and cash transactions that may, at times, be high volume.
- Utilizes Point of Sales system and creates daily sales reports.
- Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Director of Food and Beverage and Chef.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Frequent standing, walking, using hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crawling, or crouching.
- Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, working in outdoor weather conditions, in extreme heat, and in areas near moving mechanical parts, working in high precarious places, near fumes or airborne particles, near toxic or caustic chemicals, and in extreme cold (non-weather).
- Frequent noise level is moderate.
- Valid Driver’s License Required; ServSafe Certified (Food Manager & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
- Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
- Working knowledge of POS system.
- Attention to cleanliness and safety.
- Must have legible handwriting.
- Patience and customer-oriented approach.
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.
- Responsible and trustworthy.
- Self-motivated and works well with little direction/supervision.
