Beverage Cart Attendant

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
• Able to operate computerized/electronic cash register system.
• Able to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
• Knowledge of and ability to safely operate a motorized beverage cart using proper golf etiquette.
• Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.
• Must have strong skills in Customer Service.
• Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Drive the beverage cart to different areas on the golf course to service food and beverage to guests.
• Stock beverage carts to par levels each day of use.
• Operate POS, handle cash, room charges, guest member charges and credit card charges according to procedures.
• Communicate effectively with peers, management, line and front of the house employees.
• Ensure that all customers are greeted in a timely, friendly, and professional manner and assist in upkeep of the golf course as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Working Conditions

• Regularly required to reach with arms and hands.
• Often required to walk, stand, drive, bend, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objects.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 30lbs.
• Sometimes required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Moderate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, mechanical hazards and electrical hazards.
• Moderate exposure to pollens and dust.
• Moderate exposure to noise level.
• Extended hours during golf and holiday season.
• Work weekends and holidays are mandatory.

Pay Range

$18.00 + tips
