Beverage Cart Attendant

Duties and Responsibilities

• Arrives at scheduled time and refills the beverage cart with necessary snacks and beverages.
• Covers beverages in ice and fills “ice only” bin.
• Cleans and organizes the beverage cart prior to going on to the golf course.
• Warms up to members/guests while on the golf course.
• Applies knowledge of available snacks and beverages.
• Operates cart in a safe and responsible manner.
• Stays on cart paths as much as possible.
• Checks age identification if there is any doubt about the member/guest being 21 years old.
• Does not serve members/guests who appear intoxicated.
• Contact a manager on duty if the member/guest is not cooperating.
• Serves members/guests in a professional manner as per training guidelines.
• Records sales of all products.
• When serving members, ensure to get the accurate name and member number.
• Cash sales are not generally permitted, but there may be occasional exceptions for outside golf events/outings.
• Returns the beverage cart to the cart barn upon conclusion of shift.
• Unloads and secures all alcoholic beverages in the beer room.
• Returns the cart to its proper parking spot in the cart barn.

Requirements

• Server permit from the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission
• Valid driver's license for driving the cart
• Must be 19 years old (restricted server permit required)
