Beverage Cart Attendant

Job Summary: The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for providing friendly and efficient food and beverage service to golfers throughout the course. This role involves driving a beverage cart, selling drinks and snacks, handling payments, and ensuring excellent customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.

What Success Looks Like

  • Drive the beverage cart safely around the golf course to service players
  • Sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as snacks
  • Verify age of customers before serving alcohol in compliance with laws
  • Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and restock cart as needed
  • Keep the cart clean, organized, and well-presented at all times
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service to all guests
  • Monitor pace of play and position cart strategically on the course
  • Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
  • Report any issues or incidents to management promptly

What You Bring

  • Must be at least 18 or 21 years old (depending on local alcohol laws)
  • Previous customer service or food & beverage experience preferred
  • Ability to operate a golf cart safely
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25–40 lbs (beverage stock)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Weekends, holidays, and early morning/afternoon shifts required
  • Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
  • Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s)
