BestDrive Non-CDL Delivery Driver

About the Role

Operate a box truck or trailer to move product, collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, and manage routes and routines for maximum efficiency. Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business.

Perform daily inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle maintenance, and repair records. Keep company trucks fueled and clean, and comply with all DOT and BestDrive regulations and rules.

Serve as a BestDrive advocate in interactions with clients and the public.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage routes to ensure efficiency.
• Conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle maintenance, and repairs.
• Keep company trucks fueled, clean, and in compliance with regulations.
• Adhere to all DOT and BestDrive rules and regulations.
• Represent BestDrive positively in client and public interactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to pass DOT medical certification.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to work in extreme outdoor weather conditions.
• Must maintain a good driving record.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required (no visa sponsorship provided).

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work hours are generally 7am–5pm, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays and evenings as needed (little to no advance notice).
• Exposure to all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, including heat and cold.
• Regularly required to stand, bend, climb, lift, and walk.
• Must handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, protective eyewear, etc.).
• Comply with OSHA and MSHA regulations and safety requirements.
• Routinely lift 50–75 lbs; may occasionally lift up to 100 lbs individually.
