Responsibilities
- Manage administration of enterprise employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, wellness, and 401(k) plans.
- Lead benefits strategy, open enrollment, vendor management, and plan design while ensuring regulatory compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and other applicable requirements.
- Oversee leave of absence programs, including FMLA, short- and long-term disability, parental leave, and workers' compensation administration.
- Partner with HR, Finance, brokers, and benefit providers to optimize plan performance, manage costs, conduct audits, and support compliance initiatives.
- Analyze benefits trends, benchmark data, and employee needs to recommend enhancements and drive continuous process improvements.
- Serve as the benefits subject matter expert, supporting HRIS (Workday preferred), employee communications, retirement plan administration, and cross-functional Total Rewards initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in benefits administration, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and other relevant employment laws.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and apply complex regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
