About the role

The Benefits and HRIS Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting Summit Orthopedics' mission by coordinating and administering employee benefits programs and managing the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Responsibilities

  • Affords assistance to employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and/or claims.
  • Manages and optimizes both the employee benefits program and the HRIS.
  • Analyzes benefits usage and trends to recommend improvements or cost-saving strategies.
  • Serves as a point of contact for employees with questions and/or issues related to benefits and HRIS systems.
  • Administers and maintains the HRIS system, ensuring accurate employee data is captured and updated.
  • Generates reports and analyses HRIS data related to benefits, compensation, and employee records.
  • Troubleshoots issues within the HRIS system, working with IT or HR teams to resolve them.
  • Ensures system compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations.
  • Creates and delivers regular reports on benefits participation, cost, and other key metrics.
  • Conducts data analysis to support decision-making regarding benefits and HRIS improvements.
  • Affords assistance with audits and ensures data integrity within the system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in benefits administration or HRIS management is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare benefits, including understanding of major health plans, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$67,811 to $84,764 per year.

Schedule

Full-time opportunity based at the corporate office in Woodbury, MN. Monday - Friday business hours with the ability to work a hybrid work schedule.
