Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for employee benefits questions.
- Manage medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA/FSA, and retirement benefits.
- Process new hire enrollments, employee changes, and terminations.
- Support annual open enrollment activities.
- Maintain benefits information in HR systems.
- Ensure 401(k) updates are accurately reflected in payroll.
Billing & Data Management
- Reconcile monthly insurance carrier invoices.
- Verify enrollment data accuracy across HR, payroll, and benefits systems.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and employee benefit issues.
- Support retirement plan reporting and data audits.
Vendor & Leave Management
- Work with insurance carriers, brokers, and benefits vendors.
- Aid in leave of absence and disability benefits administration.
- Manage benefit changes during employee leave periods.
- Ensure compliance with COBRA and coverage continuation requirements.
Wellness Programs
- Support employee wellness initiatives and campaigns.
- Track participation and program results.
- Manage wellness communications and rewards.
- Participate in wellness committee activities.
Compliance
- Support compliance with ACA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, and retirement plan regulations.
- Aid in audits, reporting, and required employee notices.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of benefits administration experience
- Experience supporting employee benefit programs
- Knowledge of benefits billing reconciliation and enrollment audits
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Experience with HRIS and benefits management systems
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience supporting multi-state or international employees is a plus

- Starting Salary: $55,000+ (based on experience)
