Benefits & Compensation Analyst
About the role
The Benefits and Compensation Analyst plays a key role in supporting the organization's total rewards strategy through the administration of employee benefits programs, compensation initiatives, and HRIS data management. This position serves as a subject matter resource for benefits administration, partnering closely with local HR teams, corporate benefits leaders, and associates to ensure an exceptional employee experience. The role also supports compensation analysis, salary benchmarking, and job structure initiatives while maintaining the integrity of workforce data and HR systems.
Responsibilities
- Handle sensitive employee and organizational information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for benefits-related questions and issues from the HR team and associates.
- Act as the liaison between local HR teams and the TINA corporate benefits team.
- Conduct bi-weekly new hire benefits orientation sessions, as well as lead the overall benefits orientation process across all sites providing guidance and best practices to other presenters.
- Lead the annual benefits enrollment process across multiple locations.
- Manage benefits administration activities, including monthly invoicing and compliance reporting.
- Lead benefits audit and compliance activities, including proactive outreach to associates to resolve dependent verification requirements, dual coverage situations, eligibility discrepancies, and other enrollment-related issues.
- Maintain and update the Associate Benefits Handbook to ensure accurate and current benefits information.
- Develop benefits-related communications, promotional materials, and educational resources, and provide ongoing benefits training and support to HR team members.
- Administer the tuition assistance program, including processing reimbursement requests, responding to associate inquiries, and partnering with the Organizational Development team to support educational partnerships and programs with local colleges and universities.
- Support job structure initiatives by partnering with HR Business Partners to standardize and maintain job descriptions in PayFactors.
- Complete compensation survey and market data analysis to assist with salary benchmarking activities.
- Assist with market analyses and pricing to assign salary grades for new and existing roles.
- Aid in the administration of compensation programs, including annual merit increases, bonus planning, wage scale reviews, and other reward initiatives.
- Support compensation planning activities through system configuration, reporting, communications, user support, instruction guide creation, and process administration.
- Configure and maintain new hire profiles in ADP weekly.
- Assist with the preparation of recurring HR reports related to headcount, turnover, compensation, and other workforce metrics.
- Aid in the preparation of ADP system and process questions from HR team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
- 2 - 4 years of Human Resources experience, including exposure to benefits administration, compensation, HR Analytics, or related areas.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and business acumen essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Pay
$75,000 - $80,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
Schedule
Enjoy the best of both worlds with a hybrid schedule—collaborate in person at our Columbus, IN or Greene, NY office and work remotely on Thursdays and Fridays.
