Responsibilities

  • Handle the day-to-day delivery of our existing leave of absence program and provide analytical and technical support.
  • Interface with employees and managers at all levels of the organization to provide excellent customer service and effective and efficient problem resolution.
  • Key contact for employees/managers and liaison between third party administrator – with overall responsibility for ensuring that the employee goes out on leave and is returned from leave in an effective manner.
  • Ensure payroll changes are processed accurately.
  • Day-to-day administration, operational evolution, and compliance filings/audits for BBH’s 401(k) and pension plans.
  • Oversee complex testing of data feed process to ensure accuracy of highly confidential employee data.
  • Oversight for transition from active to retired status; manage retiree medical, life insurance and direct bill payments.
  • Manage annual retiree communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related disciplines
  • 2-4+ years of experience working in HR Benefits
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to all types of leaves of absence, including ADA, FMLA, Worker’s Compensation along with coordination with other State Paid Family/Medical leave offerings
  • Retirement plan experience preferred
  • Vendor/system implementation and project management experience a plus
  • Medicare knowledge a plus
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Mail Merge, Pivot Tables, V Lookup, etc.

About the role

This position is based in our New York City location and is a hybrid role, with a minimum of three days per week in office. Salary Range $75k-$85k base salary + annual bonus.
