Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the daily administration of a robust, self-funded benefits package, including medical (PPO/HDHP), dental, vision, HSA/FSA, life/AD&D, short-term/long-term disability, wellness programs, and a highly competitive 401(k) plan.
  • Be the Employee Champion: Serve as the primary point of contact for all benefit inquiries, delivering high-quality, empathetic support and clear guidance to team members.
  • Own the Data & Compliance: Maintain absolute data integrity between the HRIS and benefit carrier systems. You’ll process enrollments, changes, and terminations, reconcile monthly vendor billing statements, and ensure strict compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and ACA regulations.
  • Execute Key Events: Partner on open enrollment planning and employee communications, and spearhead the coordination of annual on-site biometric screenings across company locations.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with external vendors, brokers, and internal HR and Payroll teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Experience or exposure to UKG (Ultipro) is highly preferred.
  • A strong understanding of benefits processes and eligibility rules, combined with an exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Top-notch organizational skills, the ability to multitask under deadlines, and excellent communication skills. You must be proactive, dependable, and adept at handling sensitive, confidential information with complete discretion.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience administering multiple benefit plans in a corporate environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
