About the role
The Benefits Administrator at Benefits Coordinators Corporation (BCC) is responsible for billing and administrative functions of Active, Retiree, and COBRA benefits plans. Responsibilities include processing enrollments, updating carriers, handling status changes, and processing documentation of insurability and carrier follow-ups. Additionally, the role involves analyzing, interpreting, and troubleshooting data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Billing and administrative functions of Active, Retiree and COBRA benefits plans
- Process enrollments, update carriers, handle status changes, and process documentation of insurability and carrier follow-ups
- Analyze, interpret, and troubleshoot data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Requirements
- Previous experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- 1–2 years related office experience preferred
- Prior benefits experience is preferred, however not required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail paired with the ability to think critically and solve problems
- Ability to identify inconsistencies, troubleshoot issues, and work through complex information
