About the role

The Benefits Administrator II plays a crucial role in administering a subset of benefit programs across Amcor Flexibles North America, focusing on the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative tasks for all assigned HR programs (may include various specialized HR areas)
  • Maintains advanced knowledge of all HR plans and program designs
  • Reviews employee data forms and reports, interprets entry requirements, and completes complex data entry in HR technology solutions
  • Covers daily benefit processes
  • Creates and updates process documents and contributes content to knowledge-based tools for HR and employees
  • Aids in the creation of mass communications based on assigned HR programs
  • Supports consistency and applies a continuous improvement framework to program implementation and administration
  • Acts as tier II support for assigned HR programs
  • Participates as a performer and/or project manager on various projects for assigned HR programs
  • Performs routine integration work, including launching and troubleshooting of multiple integrations
  • Processes benefit calculations, including arrears/repayments, disability plan offsets, etc.
  • Collaborates on benefit payment requests, prepares payroll wires, and processes invoices as needed
  • Leads and executes benefit plan audits, compliance testing, and eligibility inquiries/appeals
  • Advances Amcor business knowledge in and outside of HR
  • Coordinates government filings and submissions to ensure Amcor regulatory compliance
  • Updates plan documentation (SPDs, etc.) to reflect current plan rules
  • Executes standard benefit and retirement plan corrections
  • Generates periodic financial reporting to internal Amcor stakeholders for budgeting purposes

Qualifications

  • 4 - 6 years of Human Resources experience with benefits administration experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources
  • Program administration experience in large scale manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with financial reporting (Microsoft Excel and HRIS system navigation)
  • Experience in working with external auditors and government filings
