About the role
Our client, a rapidly growing global professional services organization, is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join their collaborative HR team. This is an exciting opportunity for a benefits professional who enjoys supporting employees, solving complex questions, and managing the day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs. The role is hybrid out of the Philadelphia office and offers the chance to work alongside a highly regarded Benefits Manager while supporting employees across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs and support day-to-day benefits operations
- Process benefit enrollments, life events, and employee status changes
- Aid employees with benefits-related questions and provide exceptional customer support
- Support annual open enrollment activities and benefits communications
- Review and reconcile benefit-related reports, invoices, and payroll deductions
- Cook up with external vendors and internal partners to ensure accurate benefits administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and support compliance-related initiatives
- Partner closely with the Benefits Manager on ongoing projects and process improvements
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in benefits administration, HR, people operations, or a related field
- Experience supporting employee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, open enrollment, and employee inquiries
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally with employees at all levels, including senior leadership
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working within deadlines
- Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
- Experience working within an HRIS platform; Paylocity experience is highly preferred

Benefits
- Base salary of $80,000 plus a 10% bonus opportunity
- Hybrid opportunity with occasional travel to the Philadelphia office
