About the role
The Family Support Division is seeking applications for a Benefit Program Technician. This position will be located in the Cole County Child Support Office based at 615 Howerton Ct., Jefferson City, MO.
Responsibilities
- Serve Missouri citizens by assessing their child support needs during phone calls, in-person office visits, and online inquiries.
- Auxiliary and guide them through services such as verifying paternity, establishing child support orders, and enforcing and/or modifying both administrative and judicial orders.
Requirements
- A high school diploma and at least four years of Customer Service experience OR a Bachelor’s degree.
- Personable, compassionate, non-judgmental, and supportive.
- Excellent customer service skills, proficient typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail, and experience working with several different computer programs simultaneously.
Qualifications
Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
