Bender Operator- Days

About the Role

Responsible for both machine set up and operation of a Bending Machine, including changing tooling, using computer skills to upload jobs into the machine interface, performing first piece inspection, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Read computerized blueprints and drawings
• Perform precision forming, bending, and folding
• Use and read measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, protractor, and tape measure
• Maintain a clean and safe working station

Requirements

• Ability to add and subtract
• Experience bending a variety of metals, including galvanized steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• At least 1 year of experience as a Bender/Press Brake Operator
• Ability to stand for the duration of shift
• Willing to submit and pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating Forklift and Overhead Cranes
