Bench Inspector

Duties/Responsibilities

• Fulfills company policies and procedures regarding the DNI quality system.
• Selects appropriate sorting screens based on part dimensions.
• Sorts parts by shaking them through sizing screens to orient them properly.
• Separates accepted and rejected products into designated bins.
• Visually inspects at least three board samples under magnification for defects.
• Enters inspection data into production reporting software.
• Places rejected products into designated scrap containers.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Motivated, self-starting personality.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Able to orient components on inspection boards for visual inspection.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to access and navigate various departments within the organization's facilities.
