Behavioral Therapist (ABA Therapist) - Fitchburg

What will you do?

• Work 1:1 directly with clients with autism using individualized behavior analytic techniques created by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Perform therapy sessions in the client's home and sometimes in the community.
• Support and guide parents or caregivers to implement behavior reduction and/or skills acquisition plans.
• Collect daily data to monitor client progress and ensure program objectives are met according to individualized plans.
• Communicate in a timely manner with both the client's family and supervisor.

Qualifications

• You are dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic.
• You must be 18 years old or older.
• You are a Registered Behavior Therapist or have 3 months of experience working with children with autism.
• You are interested in working with children, adolescents, or adults with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• You have professional experience or have volunteered with people with developmental disabilities.
• You are able to make a 6-month commitment to our clients.
• You have access to reliable transportation.
• You have authorization to work in the US.
• You can pass a background check.
• CPR Certified (Not Required but Preferred).
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus.

Schedule

Sessions are scheduled Monday-Friday from 7:00-9:00 AM and 3:00-7:00 PM (split shift).

Pay

Rate of pay is between $19-$25 per hour and is based on level of education and years of experience.
