Expected Salary: $42,537.66 – Annually / $1,772.40 – Semi‑monthly

Shift Options
- First shift: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
- Second shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm

Responsibilities
- Implement behavioral support techniques developed by the behavior resource team for consumers who may require more restrictive environments.
- Respond to crisis situations and apply established interventions until behavior is safe.
- Instruct others in the implementation of behavior support plans and crisis‑intervention techniques.
- Lift clients and assist with transfers and physical restraint procedures.
- Provide hands‑on dependent care.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of standard behavior‑modification techniques, including an Advanced Skills certificate of the Safety Care program.
- Maintain all required trainings (CORE, CPR, First Aid).
- Complete Behavior Support Strategies training within six (6) months of starting.
- Complete Mental Health First Aid training within six (6) months of starting.
- Complete Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale training within 90 days of starting.
- Demonstrate Essential Skills – BST Skills within one year of starting.
Minimum Qualifications
- One or more years of direct‑care experience implementing behavior support plans for persons with developmental disabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Valid driver’s license.
