Behavioral Technician - Crisis Center (Days)

About the role

Join us as a Behavioral Technician and provide compassionate support to individuals in crisis.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support to individuals during crisis, ensuring daily needs are met
• Maintain safety and engage with individuals to create a supportive environment
• Participate in medication administration (following L1MA training)
• Share observations and feedback with the treatment team to enhance care
• Auxiliary in keeping the BHCC environment organized, clean, and welcoming
• Act as a mentor to new staff and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

• High School/GED preferred
• At least one (1) year of psychiatric, nursing, or emergency room work experience preferred
