$55,500 - $60,000

Amherst, NY

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 37.5 hrs./week

Responsibilities

• Provide data-based behavioral consultation to classroom teams
• Complete behavioral assessments
• Develop and write required reports
• Measure student progress on interim behavioral protocols and behavior intervention plans and the reliability of treatment implementation
• Train staff in best practice methods
• Provide and oversee crisis intervention services for students
• Ensure that IEP mandates are fulfilled
• Maintain all records required
• Conduct all duties, responsibilities, and daily activities in accordance with current best practice and ethical guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in special education, school psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Experience in developing and implementing behavioral support plans with developmentally disabled individuals using Applied Behavior Analysis methods
• First Aid, CPR, and Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention - Revised Instructor (SCIP-R) certification
• Fingerprint clearance through Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) for individuals assigned to preschool units

Qualifications

• Bachelors or better in School Psychology or related field
• Bachelors or better in Special Education or related field

• Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred
