About the role
The Edinburg Center is seeking a Behavior Technician/Coach to join its interdisciplinary team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Mental Health Clinicians, Therapeutic Support Specialists (TSS), Peer Specialists, and Employment Specialists.
Responsibilities
- Implement, model, and monitor progress of behavior support plan and skill acquisition plans based on data analysis under the supervision of BCBA/LABA, Mental Health Clinician
- Collaborate with collateral team members
- Assist BCBA/LABA, Mental Health Clinician in training caregivers and team members on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Provide direct instruction to person served on the Autism Spectrum
- Carry out special projects as needed by supervisor
- Comply with Mass Health, insurance, and The Edinburg Center policies and procedures
Requirements
- A BA in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or approved human service-related field, AND one (1) year of relevant direct experience working with families and youth with serious emotional and behavioral challenges or autism, OR;
- An Associates Degree and a minimum of two (2) years relevant direct experience with families and youth with serious emotional and behavioral challenges and autism, OR;
- At least three (3) years’ experience utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis in a therapeutic setting
Qualifications
- Must be a team player with excellent organizational skills and written and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are required
- A Valid MA driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation are required
