Behavioral Observer-Cleveland Heights IP; 72hrs Biweekly: Night

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or high school equivalency exam completion
• Completion of training as prescribed by MetroHealth prior to performing job responsibilities
• Basic computer skills to document observations electronically
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Possession of certification by 12/31/2017 if an existing Behavioral Observer
• Currently enrolled as a medical or nursing student (preferred)
• Prior healthcare experience involving patient care (preferred)

Physical Requirements

• Sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction
• Must be able to clearly see all patients for which one is responsible
• Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications
• Ability to read job related documents
• Ability to use computer and document observations
