About the role
The Behavioral Intervention Specialist is responsible for providing support and intervention services to individuals with behavioral health needs. This role involves assessing client needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement and monitor treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Provide crisis intervention and support services
- Document all interactions and progress in client files
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
