Family Services role focused on implementing treatment plans, evaluating patient progress, and delivering services to individuals and families.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with staff to develop and implement programming specific to Family Services, including daily activity schedules aligned with individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Therapist or Mental Health Professional.
- Build therapeutic relationships with children and families, ensuring professional and appropriate interactions.
- Communicate and coordinate activities with other staff to maintain continuity of services.
- Assist Therapists in evaluating patient symptoms and progress daily, documenting findings appropriately, and providing ongoing feedback to the treatment team.
- Adhere to programmatic guidelines and behavioral standards to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Complete mandatory education, annual competencies, and department-specific training within established timeframes.
- Maintain required licenses, certifications, and registrations in good standing throughout the fiscal year.
- Consistently use universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to ensure safety.
- Identify and address unsafe practices to reduce risks in patient care or other operational areas.
- Adhere to regulatory agency requirements, survey processes, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Rehabilitation, or Activity Therapies (minimum requirement).
- Act 33/73 clearances and Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
- Comprehensive Crisis Management training (per policy).
- Prior mental health experience (preferred but not required).
