Behavioral Health Trainer

Freedom House is seeking a full time behavioral health professional to plan and provide an array of behavioral health trainings in the community, online, and to Freedom House staff. This opportunity is open for those who are passionate about mental health and who enjoy connecting with others to build a better-informed community. What You’ll Do Become a certified trainer in evidence-based mental health awareness curriculums Organize and provide mental health awareness trainings to local law enforcement. EMTs, behavioral health providers, school staff, and the community at large Create and provide behavioral health trainings for Freedom House staff Maintain a monthly training calendar of all trainings offered Create and manage online training content for Freedom House’s Learning Management System Who We’re Looking For Minimum of 4 years post-baccalaureate experience in a behavioral health role Ability to engage a group of adult learners Excellent verbal and written communication skills Skilled in Microsoft Office suite of software including PowerPoint Ability to work independently Why Work With Us Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) Employee Assistance Program Ongoing training and professional development
