Behavioral Health Therapist (Part-Time, OR License)
About the role
Galileo is looking for a culturally sensitive and thoughtful therapist to join us part-time as part of our digital-first, primary-care medical group. You will leverage data, technology, and operational rigor in this role to deliver therapy to a diverse patient population.
What you'll do
- Provide integrated behavioral health care among a team of primary and specialty care providers with attention to clinical quality and patient-centricity
- Maintain a caseload of patients in which you’ll conduct 30 to 45 minute therapy sessions for Galileo patients residing in a state of licensure with set blocks of time to support Galileo patients each week

Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with providing teletherapy (text-based, video, phone) and integrating technology and data into practice/care provision
- Trained with evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT)
- Comfortable with providing safety planning and intervention during situations where a client might present with higher risks
- Licensed and credentialed to support patients with clinical concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma
- Active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and/or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and/or equivalent
- Active license in OR required. Additional licenses in TX, MD, TN, MA and/or CA is a plus
Compensation
Hourly rate equivalent to up to $120,000 annually for OR based therapists, with compensation prorated to your part-time schedule. Dependent on licensure, we may be able to offer up a schedule of up to 24 hours/week.

Physical Requirements
This is primarily a sedentary position. Physical requirements may include lifting up to 10 pounds, manual dexterity, near/far visual acuity, keyboarding, the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech, sitting, standing, walking, and screen usage 8 or more hours per day.
