Behavioral Health Therapist I

About the role

The Behavioral Health Therapist I is responsible for meeting with patients to complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, as well as individual, group and family therapy as deemed appropriate for each individual patient. Conducting case management activities as well as discharge planning and maintaining appropriate documentation. Providing appropriate therapeutic and educational interventions, services and is knowledgeable about community resources.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related field.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Driver's License.
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• 2 years clinical related experience or 9 month internship.
• 1 year of relevant experience with Master's degree.

• Master's in Social Work, Psychology or Related Field.

Schedule

Full-Time, Exempt.

Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-7:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

No weekend work.

No on-call work.
