Behavioral Health Therapist
Position Description
The full time, exempt Behavioral Health Clinician is essential member of a high performing healthcare team. The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) Child and Adolescent Health Center (CAHC) will provide clinical behavioral health services to assure a professional, skilled program of care and treatment is administered. In addition, the BHC will uphold the health center's mission and quality standards which result in better patient health outcomes, overall satisfaction, and stronger operation and fiscal capacity of the health center. The BHC will adhere to Honor Community Health (HCH) policies and procedures while carrying out and monitoring a wide range of clinical processes. The BHC will maintain strong internal and external relationships, serving as a liaison on behalf of HCH's centers. The BHC works collaboratively to create and maintain a culture of excellence and dedication to providing compassionate and high-quality behavioral health care to all.
What are we looking for?
- Master's Degree in social work, or related field
- 2 years' experience with mental health
- Current license to practice in Michigan as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Limited License Psychologist, License Professional Counselor, Doctoral degree in psychology
- Knowledge of primary care and health center integration is strongly recommended.
- Maintain BLS certification
- CAABC/ Substance use experience is preferred.
