Behavioral Health Therapist - Addiction Recovery Center

Role Overview: Provides support to a multidisciplinary team in assessment, treatment planning, counseling, and discharge planning for patients and families. Key Responsibilities: Offers individual, group, and family counseling to achieve treatment goals, utilizing therapies like cognitive-behavioral therapy.Conducts ongoing patient assessments, documents progress, and involves families in the process.Collaborates with team members and community providers to develop and implement personalized treatment and discharge plans.Participates in staffing, discharge planning, and care coordination, ensuring timely and effective transitions.Assists with assessments, admissions, and managing aggressive behaviors using CPI methods when needed. Qualifications & Skills: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.Certifications: BLS, CADC, LPC or LSW within specified timeframes.Experience in behavioral health with strong communication, confidentiality, and computer skills.Ability to respond appropriately, work with diverse populations, and handle emergency situations.
