Behavioral Health Technician-Towson (Greenbrook)

About the role

Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers seeks a patient‑focused technician to deliver life‑changing TMS and esketamine therapies in welcoming outpatient centers. The position offers the opportunity to grow skills, receive specialized training, and directly impact patients’ lives. The role is primarily based in the Towson center with occasional regional coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer TMS and esketamine treatments following clinical guidelines.
• Monitor patient responses and administer/record psychiatric rating scales.
• Address patient discomfort proactively.
• Deliver empathetic and supportive care.
• Maintain accurate EHR records.
• Manage patient scheduling, check‑in, check‑out, and financial procedures.
• Perform regular clinical administrative tasks, including taking co‑pays.
• Engage with patients and providers to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Requirements

• Minimum: High School Diploma plus relevant certification (e.g., medical assistant) or an Associate’s degree combined with substantial relevant work experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or any Human Services‑related major; at least one year of healthcare work experience (preferred but not required).

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems (AdvancedMD and SalesForce preferred).
• Knowledge of insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines (a plus).
• Strong clinical interviewing skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided).

Pay

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8‑hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm.
