Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist clients with daily activities and various processes.
• Provide professional care to clients and support the program where appropriate.
• Assist and support staff as well as clients with daily routine activities.
• Monitor clients under the direction of the Program Director to ensure they are safe and provided with quality care.
• Provide administrative support as needed, such as reviewing or submitting paperwork, organizing and maintaining files, gathering and inputting data.
• Search and record client’s property upon intake and discharge.
• Assist clients with luggage and belongings during intake, when moving rooms, and at discharge.
• Search facility for contraband (e.g., illicit drugs and alcohol).
• Transport clients as required.
• Assist clients with preparing for doctor’s appointments, store trips, and meetings.
• Maintain a clean environment throughout the facility, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and other janitorial duties.
• Collect and label urine samples.
• Assist clients in preparing for groups and daily activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director or Assistant Program Director.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
