Responsibilities
- Monitor and assist clients with daily activities and various processes.
- Provide professional care to clients and support the program where appropriate.
- Assist and support staff as well as clients with daily routine activities.
- Monitor clients under the direction of the Program Director to ensure they are safe and provided with quality care.
- Provide administrative support as needed, such as reviewing or submitting paperwork, organizing and maintaining files, gathering and inputting data.
- Search and record client’s property upon intake and discharge.
- Assist clients with luggage and belongings during intake, when moving rooms, and at discharge.
- Search facility for contraband (e.g., illicit drugs and alcohol).
- Transport clients as required.
- Assist clients with preparing for doctor’s appointments, store trips, and meetings.
- Maintain a clean environment throughout the facility, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and other janitorial duties.
- Collect and label urine samples.
- Assist clients in preparing for groups and daily activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director or Assistant Program Director.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
