Behavioral Health Technician - Full-Time 3rd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for an overnight, full-time role providing support in a substance use and mental health treatment environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising clients
• Monitoring safety
• Completing observations
• Documenting care
• Recognizing and responding to behavioral, emotional, or medical concerns
• Providing crisis support and assisting with medication management
• Maintaining a safe, organized environment and supporting client needs
• Following treatment plans and ensuring confidentiality
• Communicating updates to the team and completing required training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred experience in behavioral health or related fields
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications
• Ability to stay alert during overnight shifts and work independently within a team
