Behavioral Health Technician I or II | Urgent Care
for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We must not emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text. So only include sections with real content.
We need to output ONLY the HTML fragment.
Let's craft sections:
About the role
Provides physical and psychological care to patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assumes responsibility and accountability for individual actions and outcomes of patient care delivered. Part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients.
Maybe also include location? Location could be in About the role or maybe separate? But we have no section for location; we could include it in About the role as part of prose. The instruction: do not repeat job title, but location is fine.
We could also include Worker Type: Regular in About the role? Might be better to include in Schedule? Actually schedule section is for shift. Worker type maybe not needed but we could include in About the role.
But we need to preserve all substantive info; location and worker type are substantive. We'll include them in About the role.
Thus About the role paragraph: "Located at Avera Behavioral Health Center-Sioux Falls. Regular position. Provides physical and psychological care to patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assumes responsibility and accountability for individual actions and outcomes of patient care delivered. Part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients."
Now Responsibilities: Use - for each duty.
List from "What you will do":
- Works with individual patients in a 1-on-1 setting or in a group setting that is consistent with the nursing care needs of the patient and the inter-disciplinary treatment plan.
- Participates in the daily inter-disciplinary treatment team meeting as needed, providing input in terms of patient behaviors and interactions with others.
- Implements suicide precautions as needed.
- Assesses changes in patient’s condition/behavior and notifies RN.
- Assists with patient and family programs as well as being continually cognizant of the safety and welfare of all participants.
- Assists with the activities of daily living care of the patients to include, but not limited to: vital signs, collection of specimens, and other general nursing care procedures.
- Assesses individual patient needs and provides input in creating and modifying the nursing care plan and assists with implementing necessary therapeutic activities.
- Maintains accurate and concise records, documenting promptly all pertinent information in the patient’s EMR.
- Assesses impending agitation and escalation of behavioral changes and participates in the behavioral management of these patients.
- Researches, plans, and implements the updating and development of new therapeutic patient groups with oversight from the Programming Committee.
Now Requirements: essential qualifications (abilities). Also maybe "must be able to work the hours specified". Let's list:
- Must be able to work the hours specified (rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays).
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
We could also include "Reasonable accommodations may be made..." but that's boilerplate? It's about accommodations; might be considered EEO/accommodation. Might be okay to keep? The instruction says remove EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. The accommodation statement is not exactly EEO but related to disability accommodation. Might be considered boilerplate. Safer to remove.
Thus Requirements section with those bullet points.
