Behavioral Health Technician (Greenbrook)
Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers is seeking a patient-focused technician to deliver life-changing TMS and esketamine therapies in our welcoming outpatient centers in the San Diego area. This role offers the opportunity to grow your skills, receive specialized training, and connect with patients.
About the role
As a Patient-Centered Technician, you will:
- Administer TMS and esketamine treatments following clinical guidelines.
- Meticulously monitor patient responses and administer psychiatric rating scales.
- Proactively address patient discomfort and deliver empathetic, supportive care.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and manage patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, and financial procedures.
- Support operational efficiency, including assisting with insurance and billing processes as needed.
This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7am-7pm, Monday through Friday. Shift times may vary, and consistent availability during these hours is required. The role is primarily based in our Mission Valley center, with occasional coverage at other area centers. Reliable personal transportation is required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, or equivalent clinical certification.
- Substantial relevant work experience, preferably in patient or customer-facing roles.
- Stable and consistent work history.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (AdvancedMD and SalesForce preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related Human Services field.
- At least one year of healthcare work or internship experience.
