Behavioral Health Technician- Community & School Based Behavioral Health- Johnsonburg Area School District High School

About the role

The Behavioral Health Worker works closely with the Mental Health Professional and Behavioral Health Worker counterpart to provide direct treatment services to children, adolescents, and families in the Community and School Based (CSBBH) program at Johnsonburg Area School District High School.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct treatment services to children, adolescents, and families.
• Work closely with Mental Health Professionals and other Behavioral Health Workers.
• Perform on-call duties and work some non-traditional hours.
• Operate an agency and/or personal vehicle safely during various weather conditions and times of day.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a Human Services field with 2 years of paid experience in a clinical setting.
• In lieu of a 4-year degree, may include students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) who are in their senior year, have completed at least 30 credits in social work-required courses, and have completed short field experiences (requirements for the BSW degree) at the time of hire. The required 450-hour internship that counts for course credit may be completed during employment as a CSBBH provider.
• Current and valid driver's license issued by your state of residence.
• Ability to operate an agency and/or personal vehicle safely in various weather conditions, day or night.
• At least 21 years of age with a driving record that meets the requirements of the DCI Vehicle Fleet Policy.
• Reliable transportation, as the job requires use of the employee's personal vehicle.

Pay

$19.76 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week.
