About the Role
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides one-to-one assistance to children/adolescents following individual treatment plans designed to teach skills and interventions to help them succeed in the classroom, community, and home environment.
Responsibilities
- Prompt interventions in the areas of behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on the treatment plan goals provided by a Behavior Consultant or Mobile Therapist.
- Collect daily data and document progress notes in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent.
- Complete initial and annual training as required.
- Collaborate with client, family, and all other assigned team members to ensure compliance with CASSP.
Requirements
- Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive change in someone's life.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applications.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances.
- Valid PA Driver's license.
