Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) FT and PT

About the Role

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides one-to-one assistance to children/adolescents following individual treatment plans designed to teach skills and interventions to help them succeed in the classroom, community, and home environment.

Responsibilities

• Prompt interventions in the areas of behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on the treatment plan goals provided by a Behavior Consultant or Mobile Therapist.
• Collect daily data and document progress notes in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent.
• Complete initial and annual training as required.
• Collaborate with client, family, and all other assigned team members to ensure compliance with CASSP.

Requirements

• Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive change in someone's life.
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applications.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances.
• Valid PA Driver's license.
