About the role
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) position at Triony Behavioral Health is dedicated to supporting men on their journey toward mental wellness through personalized, evidence-based care. The role involves direct client engagement, transportation, documentation, and active collaboration with the treatment and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Housing & Client Support
- Review prior notes and prepare the daily house to-do list.
- Greet clients warmly, build rapport, and support a welcoming environment.
- Oversee client safety and supervision in supportive housing.
- Aid in meal preparation and promote healthy living habits.
- Support clients in following their daily programming as directed by clinical and medical teams.
- Document medication observations accurately according to policy.
- Organize weekend activities and community outings for clients.
- Complete incident reports and notify leadership as needed.
- Transportation
- Safely transport clients to and from the treatment center, events, and appointments.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, log mileage, and report maintenance needs.
- Ensure client safety and comfort at all times.
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with all privacy regulations.
- Treatment Center Support
- Assist with program implementation and client engagement in both clinical and supportive housing settings.
- Provide case management support to clients.
- Collaborate with counselors and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Complete detailed documentation for each shift and client interaction.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma required.
- Licensure: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Prior experience in behavioral health or residential treatment settings preferred.
