Behavioral Health Technician

About the role

Mentor Behavioral Health, a part of the Sevita family, provides Early Intervention, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Behavioral Health services to children, individuals and families. Responsibilities

• Work one‑on‑one with children who have behavioral diagnoses such as ADHD and Autism in home, community, and school settings.
• Provide support to help children of all abilities thrive.
• Collaborate closely with families, involving them in the therapeutic process.
• Offer guidance and counseling techniques to families and school personnel.
• Deliver therapeutic supervision to youth and families during treatment and educational activities.
• Assist in managing aggressive behaviors using de‑escalation, non‑restraining, and behavior‑management techniques approved by BSC and the clinical team.
• Document behavioral progress notes and collaborate with team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and experience working or volunteering with children.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize while providing guidance.
• Reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
• Commitment to quality in all tasks.
