Behavioral Health Technician

Monte Nido Rosewood, located in Wickenburg, Arizona, is a leading provider of eating disorder treatment with over thirty years of experience. Our programs blend medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach, grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents. We use a multi-disciplinary treatment team to integrate state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies, providing comprehensive care for conditions such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorders, and co-occurring addictions.

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will assist in leading the nursing team by providing quality patient care, including basic monitoring of patient activities and behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal monitoring, support, and redirection of patients with eating disorders.
• Support topic groups with therapy activities, including art activities, recreational activities, meditation, and guided imagery.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications.
• Must possess a current AZ DPS fingerprint card within a specified timeframe.
• Must be 21 years of age or older in accordance with Dept. of Health Services R9-20-204.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, as driving is a requirement of the job.
• Experience in behavioral and/or mental health preferred.
• Eating disorder knowledge is a plus.
